Scouring & Devouring Omaha: Le Quartier Dundee

While in college in Lincoln, we were introduced to Le Quartier while shopping at Open Harvest and we instantly fell in love. We were eating a lot of bruschetta when we discovered Le Quartier's baguettes were the perfect bread for our stinky, garlic ridden dish.

A few years ago, after returning to Omaha, we were pleasantly surprised when we spotted Le Quartier at our local Farmer's Market. Imagine our joy when they opened not only one, but TWO locations, one of which is right in the heart of Dundee!

Serving sandwiches, soups and salads for lunch, you can stop in and grab a quick bite and take home some bread for later.

Here's what I got on a recent lunch visit - their vegetarian sandwich which consists of a cauliflower mash along with various other veggies like avocado, onions, etc. and a cut of their tomato soup which was absolutely delicious. It packed a lot of flavor and I think even had chunks of vegetables in it too.

Serving breakfast all day, Le Quartier is a great place to break out of your doughnut and/or bagel rut with their pastries, breakfast sandwiches, biscuits and gravy, quiche and more! Also, both Kerry and I had their coffee here so we can attest to it's all around perfection as a quick breakfast stop on the way into the office.

And there are desserts to be had!! Macaroons, lemon bars, cookies, you won't have a problem finding something sweet to end your meal with. While we were introduced to Le Quartier as a purely bread company, we're extremely happy to have found the rest of their menu applies the same eye to detail and deliciousness as the variety of breads they carry. Stop in soon!
